The highly anticipated, high energy, melt-your-face-off, collaboration of Mat Zo and Kill The Noise titled “Kill The Zo” threw down one of the most memorable shows at Echostage, as their last stop on their 11-city tour. The show started with Rexriot and RaceCarBed who got the crowd in the dancing mood with each of their hour and a half sets.

As RaceCarBed ended, wishing the crowd a great evening ahead, Kill The Noise took the stage to deliver a hard-hitting set comprised of classic KTN tracks.  The show had the crowd moving, and the energy was palpable.  It was during this set that the crowd got its first taste of the steam cannons for the evening, shooting smoke pillars high into the air several times, KTN came with a strong visual show to compliment his wild set, which had the crowd begging for more.

Mat Zo took the stage and kept the energy moving, his trance tracks were a solid compliment to KTN’s harder hitting tracks, lifting the crowd into a lighter dance, and dazzling everyone with an intense light display—and utilizing the awesome steam cannons.  Never disappointing, Mat played a great combination of remixes of his popular tracks and originals like “Easy” and “Only For You.”  The set was a different style from KTN, but it worked as an artistic compliment for the entire show of the evening, and it was “easy” to get lost in the environment created.

The night came to its energetic climax when KTN returned to the stage, showcasing the epic force of Kill The Zo. Launching their tour with the release of “Part I” everyone in the crowd was eager to experience the cocktail of these two different styles mixed live. Complete with a fantastic light show, the duo stirred their musical talents together to create a dynamic DnB set, and at the same time highlight the more hard-hitting sounds of each artist.  Playing tracks like Skrillex and Nero’s “Holdin’ On” drove the crowd to keep going hard—all the way until 4 a.m.  Everyone who stayed until the lights came up agreed—we want more of Kill The Zo!
