Coming from Cleveland, OH is Lucas 88, a 22-year-old producer and lyricist. He has been at it since the age of 15, and produces his own beats as well as material for his hip-hop collaboration “Aloof Recordings.” With a solid base of fresh beats consistent with his Cleveland roots, Lucas 88 constantly pulls from all types of music for inspiration with songs running the gamut from the slower-groove track “Lisa Bonet” to the bass-rattling beat for “Hoodlum,” which also highlights 88’s talents as a rapper.

The variation in his tracks keep listeners constantly connected to his unique style, and we are all anxiously awaiting 88’s soon-to-be-released EP.
