Wednesday night DC music lovers placed their bets on a snow day (which ended up happening) and packed-out U Street Music Hall for a long night of grooves. Hosted by Closed Sessions, the aptly named “Sweater Weather Tour” took the UHall by storm with DMV locals Sweater Beats and Manila Killa and joined by past Closed Sessions headliner, Kastle.

Manila Killa kicked off the night crusing through jam after jam, dropping “Round Two” featuring Closed Session’s Desktop and his newest remix of “Pink Medicine”.  Kastle took the time to groove with Manila Killa before taking over the crowd, dropping a new track that is yet to be named –showing once again that the U Street Music Hall is a destination venue for DJs as well as attendees.

As the crowd size peaked, MD-native Sweater Beats came out strong, immediately captivating the crowd.  Rocking the Closed Sessions logo tee, he kept the crowd warm with jams like the tropical sounding remix of “Stay the Night,” and Australian sunshine with some Wave Racer in the mix.  Although he now calls the Big Apple home, Sweater Beats consistently brings the best energy to U Street Music Hall!
