Matt & Nate, Clown Prince and Rex Riot opened Flash each playing their own unique set while the dance floor started to fill up. Rex Riot introduced Lindsay Lowend right before the audio for the club cut out for a second, joking that it was Lindsay Lowend’s fault.
Lindsay Lowend was the special guest at this Closed Sessions and definitely had an energetic audience there for his set, including Wave Racer as he mentioned on his twitter earlier in the day.
This was Wave Racer‘s first appearance in Washington, D.C. and we couldn’t have been more excited to see one of our favorite producers who has been producing and remixing gold since last year. Wave Racer really has his own unique sound which is super fresh and all instant dance floor classics.

Wave racer played his “Always” remix early in his set which is one of the nicest songs ever released, and he kept going with others of his like “Streamers” and “My Boo.”
Manilla Killa closed the night out with some more groovy Jersey club tunes, a lot coming from Cashmere Cat which prompted the MC at the time to say “Give it up for Cashmere Cat, y’all!”
Another spectacular Closed Sessions event with amazing DJ’s in a great new venue, Flash. This show added to the impressive week of performances in D.C. to end March 2014.
